Medical Services
Free confidential medical and dental services and health education at the James Morehouse Project are provided by Contra Costa County Health Services.
Medical Services Hours:Â (as of February 2017)
- Mondays: 8:00am-12:00 Noon
- Tuesdays:Â 8:00am-12:00 Noon & 1pm-4pm
Dental Services Hours:Â (as of February 2017)
- Thursdays: 8:00am-12:00pm & 12-4pm
Services provided include:
Primary Care Medical Services (for students with Medi-Cal or no health insurance)
- Physical Exams (Sports Physicals)
- Vaccinations/TB Tests
Reproductive Health Care*
- Reproductive Counseling/Education
- Birth Control/Emergency Contraception
- Screening (STD/STI, HIV, Pregnancy)
Dental Services (for students with Medi-Cal or no health insurance)
- Cleanings
- Exams
- Fillings
*Â CA state law guarantees minors the right to consent to their own care for certain sensitive services, including reproductive health care services, and some other services.
